At the Mountain T’s Invitational this Saturday, freshman Deante Kemper broke 7′ for the first time in the high jump. He kept on going from there. A link to the video of Deante clearing 7′ 2.25″ was posted on the NAU Track and Field facebook page.
The school record of 7′ 3.25″ is certainly in jeopardy. Look for Kemper to continue to reach new heights as he sets his eyes on the NCAA Indoor Nationals automatic qualifier of 7′ 4″.
